Jeremy McMartin
Director of Digital Practice | BIM Manager
C. Tech, OACETT
Jeremy McMartin, KIRKOR’s Director of Digital Practice, is an indispensable asset to a studio, especially in the current moment when the majority of our dealings are digital. Under Jeremy’s guidance, KIRKOR rose to the leading Canadian architectural firm to fully embrace Building Information Modelling (BIM) methodologies and techniques. BIM software enables KIRKOR to develop the most coordinated set of project documents while also revealing exciting challenges to be addressed in the early design stages toward a complete understanding of our conceptual designs. These platforms allow KIRKOR to assess work from a place of tested experience, where the testing is in a virtual building, where collaboration efforts can see the impact of design shifts and development in real-time. Jeremy’s role is to maintain the studio’s BIM readiness and keep on top of technological and digital innovation. Jeremy’s efforts place KIRKOR at the centre of fruitful collaboration, digital computing and coordination.
