The dual tower development in the much-sought after Beltline district have welcomed new residences at the heart of local happening in Calgary. The podium adjoins 17 and 34-storey buildings while hosting commercial units at grade and offices on the second floor. The massing and the materials create a dynamic skin that shimmers against Calgary skies signaling the sophistication and elegance of the new millennium. Active ground-level uses have high transparency and visual interaction with the surrounding street context. Ground-level facades contain blank walls where the front expresses fine-grain massing relationships by defining vertical and horizontal planes. Window placement, including curtain wall systems, contributes to façade rhythm, variation, and diversity.
